Seaside State Art Gallery invites you to visit the exhibition"Russian art of the XVI - beginning of XX centuries".
The exposition presents samples of old Russian icon painting, church items, genuine works of Russian painting by Fyodor Rokotov, Vladimir Borovikovsky, Orest Kiprensky, Vasily Tropinin, Ilya Repin, Valentin Serov and other famous masters of Russian portraiture.
Visitors will see the unique landscapes of Vasily Polenov, Vladimir Makovsky, Isaac Levitan, Ivan Shishkin. A separate room is dedicated to the seascape, where the centerpiece is the picture of the famous marine painter Ivan Aivazovsky “Sunrise on the Black Sea”. Various artistic movements of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries are represented by world-famous authors - Konstantin Somov, Martiros Saryan, Nikolai Feshin, Pyotr Konchalovsky, Robert Falk, Mark Shagal, Vasily Kandinsky.
